Eleven Years!

Introducing my gift from God husband, Dennis. We celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversay on June 6. He is not perfect. Of course, neither am I! Yet, we are perfect for each other. I believe that we were brought together in God's time to spend our remaining years together, loving each other and serving our Lord.

When we first met, I put this man through a barrage of testing. Truly bratty behavior was my "m.o." for unending weeks. I deliberately overexaggerated personality quirks to determine if he wanted me, rather than wanting me to become his make-over project. I had been partner in a difficult marriage for 25 years where two equally nice, but strong-willed, people became toxically embroiled in a struggle for control over the other. After the divorce, I determined that my life would be better unencumbered by marital obligations. I wanted to rediscover and be my authentic self.
